Children and young people in need of support often struggle to access services.
Until they do, their needs may not be understood and are often unmet. This can negatively impact quality of life, emotional, social and psychological health, both presently and into the future.
My vision is that psychometric assessment is the first step to improved well-being. My mission is motivated by lived experience of the immense benefit of psychometric testing for understanding support needs.
My testing focusses on the important components needed for identifying and supporting autism characteristics in children and young people.
This includes examining attention, executive functioning and adaptive behaviour (social-emotional skills, daily living skills). It can include anxiety, but also strengths and resiliency.
Information is gathered from parents, the child, teachers or other carers through interview, self-report, questionnaires, but also observations. I use evidence-based assessments widely accepted by allied health and medical practitioners.
My prices are competitive, consistent with my aim and mission to make assessment services accessible. I work from the Brisbane city northern suburb of Alderley but also provide mobile (outreach service) in Brisbane and Ipswich, and tele-health consultations (which do not require you to download any software!).
Some specific tests do require a quiet, interruption free environment which we can discuss when we chat .

About Me
I am a registered psychologist with postgraduate qualifications and clinical experience in autism and community mental health. I have also walked the autism journey alongside my family member and this adds to my deep understanding of the autism spectrum.
You will be understood (nothing surprises me!) and your assessment will be tailored to individual needs.
